Yads is quite unlucky as he has been given next to no chance for months now BUT on the other hand not surprised at all that he has been released

Yiads has been a bit unlucky and it's a bit like the Dean Harper situation. As we don't have a reserve team it's hard for players to sit on the bench for four weeks with no game time, then be thrown in when there is an injury. Of course you are going to be a bit rusty at first. Seemed to be a nice guy and wish him all the best. Defo need some cover in though as we only have four defenders at the club now (although Hezza and Logie can play there).

If Bates is going to contact any Windsor players, the priority should be talking to Rob Bullivant. An excellent keeper

Not only Windsor but Burnham and maybe other teams.

 

Having said that, Windsor would possibly be the easier option as their players are, I'd imagine, will be actively looking to play for other clubs for the remainder of the season.

Although I must stress Charlie Fanner has done nothing wrong and could certainly be a keeper for the future.

 

The question is do we need a more experienced/quality keeper to get us into the play-offs?

I'd argue that so far Charlie Fanner has been better than his defence, saving them on more than one occasion.

I too do not think we need a keeper. Charlie has been fantastic and jacko is very competent.
