Three badly needed points

cup of tea

Recommended Posts

Phew! We needed that.

I think if Margate had brought their scoring boots in the first half, the result could have been different.

Hornchurch finished stronger.

Johnathon Hunt had a good game, solid from Elliot (as usual).

Well taken goal by Tommy Black and Lewis 'better than Torres' Smith got a great winner and put in the miles again today.

Forgive the old mantra about winning games in hand but we can haul ourselves into the play-offs should we capitalise on them.

Was tonight's second half a turning point after three dire games?

Anybody know how tall Franck is? Looks pretty big from the Eastside.

Yes, three points badly needed, and we got them eventually!

Overall well deserved win.

First half not good, doesnt help with half the margate team shouting ref,ref ref, and droping to the ground screaming (oooowww oooowwww), every time Hornchurch got the ball. Got quite petty by the end of the first half.

Their goal should not have stood, i believe that Darren was pushed, so there for a fail shouldve been given, not the goal, but hey ho.....

We looked the better side in the second half. Tommy Black and the very tall new guy along with Tuhoey once brought on changed the game and helped us with our much needed result.

Btw the Margate number 5 does actually looks like Louis Spence, the gay dancer from the Pineapple dance studio thing on tv!!

Roll on Saturday, hopefully another 3 points!

Thought we were poor in the first half,we looked like we hadn't played with each other for years but we rode our luck and gained some momentum in the second half, the substitutions definatly made a difference and by the end of the game we were well on top, another 10 minutes of play and we would of won 4/5-1,happy with the win and the last half hour performance but we do need to get back to the form we was showing upto 3 weeks ago

Really wanted that after Saturday playing well and getting nothing. Another major factor of my increasing anger being the 'performance' of the referee falling for the cynical antics of a couple of their players plus THAT shriek... He should be ashamed of himself. Embarrassing.

Almost as embarrassing as my perfect impression of it....

So, in summary then: Nice sausages.

margate were actually ten times better than horsham and priobably gone away with something on another days if they took all there chances but the last 13 minutes were worth the admission fee alone

Check the goal clips Annie, nobody touched him, as for our no5 I think you and Yellow need your eyes testing especially if you saw him in bar after game with all his tattoos ;)

They get extra points in rugby union if they score lots of points. Not sure what the threshold is.

Think it's 4 tries actually, win or lose.

Also losses by 7 or fewer count as 1 point (draws as 2, wins as 4), they did in the Tri-Nations (soon to be 4) anyway
