seems top scorer BILLY HUNT is on his way out of burnham after a disagreement with willow ,witham who posted a 7 dayer earlier in the season seem to be the favorites seems like all the younger players bit by bit are leaving , would be good to see a mandatory 4/5 under 20s included in a esl team

I can confirm that Billy Hunt has left Burnham. The disagreement with me was I subbed him on Saturday after another inept performance from him and he stormed off. Not the best attitude you would agree

 

There is no 'I' in team and no one player is bigger than the team. I make decisisons which I feel are best for the team. Over the last few weeks Billy couldn't see that

 

As for Witham being his next club, neither Shaun Pugh or myself have had any contact from them and will be requiring a 7 day approach

 

I'd like to wish Billy all the best for the future

 

Finally, Shrewdest I see you haven't been around for a while, in fact last time you was about was when a certain other player left Burnham. I do hope that you are not trying to stir up trouble as I'm pretty sure I know who you are and will be in touch

His behaviour when he was subbed last week against APSA was pathetic. He threw his boots at the dugout twice, and sat like a little child for the rest of the match. His behaviour was embarassing, and good on Willo for chucking him out!

I don't think he was exactly washing his dirty laundry at all. All he did was tell his side of the story to probably stop all the cobblers & speculation that gets written sometimes.

Good on him & he's still big enough to wish the player well as well.

It may , at this point,be best for everyone that Bill has moved on.He has such potential,on his day and his left foot he is a special talent.Sadly,for whatever reason,he was recently not doing himself justice at Ramblers and I think ,like most good players would,he was feeling it.All the best to him and his family. Wasn't just Bill that went tho - the other one was baffling,but again probably best for all concerned including the Woodham boy who came in on Sat and so impressed everyone -opposition included.
