They did peters ex frimley , brunty, ex hartley eversley scully but i cant pick everyone duncs else id ave a squad of 30 plus if it was jus mates i woulda put in a few more what banter and team spirit that would be!

spot on Sf apart from right full back I would play our lad Tom Mcgarry, he is turning into a very good player and scores loads of goals plus he can play anywhere if someone is injured or suspended and also probably start JJ as captain

Don't think McGarry played the game I saw you thus season, if he did unfortunately didn't stand out.

Was tough call in middle of park, Bates has been best player on pitch the two times I have seen him and Foulser always impressed few years I have been watching CCL

no youre right SF you can only go on what you have seen but in Jonnos case I think you'll find that ther'es not many clubs in this league who wouldn't want him and as captain as well (why wasn't he at Ash) and also while we are on the subject have you not watched Steve Duff ?

I'd have Johnno in any side. He is the type of captain I like who never shuts up and talks the team through each game. Reminds me of the old Burnham captain Paul Brett.

One question Duncs, with the 3 players you name and the best coach in the league accordingvto Johno why are Cove not challenging for title?

Bold statement that Duncs, chertsey challenged for title last few years, good vase run. Camberley good league finishes last few years and League Cup win. Epsom good league finishes and good vase run. For me all more successful.

depends how you rate success SF....

do you rate it on winning things or going as far as you can in a trophy or league without winning it or even getting close?

 

or do you rate success in comparison to the size of budget you have compared to other clubs that have a very big budget? Last season for example, camberley with a reported high budget only finish 3rd and fail in promotion which must have been the aim, and Cove with a very small budget win the league cup and make it to another final, how would you rate success there??

cos a lot of our players left for clubs with more money available and with greater ambitions to get promoted.....

 

Only 2 from the starting 11 in the cup final are present in the current team and 1 of them is injured and out for a month!

Mark Jarman would be my main striker,a workaholic never stops running for 90 mins, and knows where the GOAL is,since he has gone back to Bookham F.C. Their results have improved,coincidence?And a nice lad to boot.

Interesting topic this one. I named a few players last week i enjoyed watching but im quite suprised the likes of camberleys players especially Blount and M.Griffiths have not been mentioned. Blount has been scoring regulary for a CB. Also sandhurst players, alot of quality there too. Has nobody seen or rate players from these clubs?

 

Lastly, i agree with paul duncan on the point he raised on Steven Duff. Strong, quick and talented player. I would have him over o'regan. Seen o regan quite alot this season and hes only looked interested in one of those games.
