Dear All,

 

Firstly I would like to thank all those that have shown me public and private support. As it has been made known I have had a turbulent time in my private life, which (rightly or wrongly) I have let take over my emotions and state of mind.

 

I have purposely kept a low profile of late to see how things have been developing. Let me tell you why.

 

A crooked sort of character who goes by the alias of Basil-Don (I won't lower myself to use real names) seems to have developed a bit of a "thing" for me. Via facebook I have been publically threatened with violence and, whilst in reality I do not feel my safety is under any threat, it is not very pleasant to read and have the feeling that people are laughing at me. Following this I decided to lay low as I have obviously upset a lot of people which, it has to be said, I am not proud of.

 

Unfortunately my silence has been deemed as accepting defeat to these bullies who have rounded on me in recent weeks. For all of those of you out there reading this that have suffered any kind of bullying, physical or mental, I dedicate this statement to you.

 

I would like to confirm something for those of you that cannot read between the lines. My name is Mark Hoffman, I am 40 something , I like football and love winding people up. Is it so hard to believe?

 

My silence has been broken because there is constant speculation about my "REAL" identity and allegations against other people. I am a realist, I understand none of you have seen me face to face and have no evidence to suggest I exist. To be honest, I quite like the mystery that surrounds me and for that reason I am in no rush to "come out". All I can do is assure you I am your average divorced man looking for something to keep himself entertained and you have no choice but to take my word for it.

 

There will still be doubters but that adds to the fun. Enjoy your conspiracy theories but be careful who you point the finger at, you may just be left with egg on your face.

just to clear things up no threats were made by me to this individual,the name Mark Hoffman is apparentely taken from a ficitional character in the SAW movies and no one at Aveley has heard of this man.
