Jarvis leaves Burnham

Just goes to show what a joke some of the local clubs have turned into, one cant pay its players for 12 weeks and another cant pay the tax man!

Thank God for Steve Easterbrook!

It is not often I feel sorry for Jarvis, but he is spot on with his comments about being unable to lead his team when they have been unpaid for so long.

So who is worth picking up from Burnham, do they have any strong backs or a suitable tall forward?

I wonder what the reason is behind Burnham not being able to pay their players.

Obviously they had the meeting recently about trying to raise the profile of the club to try boost attendances, perhaps a precursor to what has happened today. On top that they must be struggling with returns from the conference centre. It was only last season that they had the backing of Gould, a warning that things can change very quickly - even with the apparent state of well being at Slough.

Jarvis has every right to be annoyed and to leave the club. what on earth can he achieve if the players are not being paid

in my mind contacting Ryan Bird would be well well worth doing would be a fantastic signing for us and versatile. couple of decent defenders they have as well though still not totally convinced we need huge changes to our current squad despite some below par performances

Ryan Bird would be a good signing.

It was mentioned on Tuesday that we have been trying to sign him.

Would any player leave Burnham before being paid?

How's Will Dunlop been playing lately? At his best he would be a good signing to bolster our defence.

I've just noticed that if we sign Ryan Bird,we will have BIRD,SWIFT,MARTIN & HERRON in our squad.Any chance of getting ROBIN van persie or Chris EAGLE before the transfer window closes?

If that's the case I'm sure somebody will Tweet about us becoming the High Flyers of the Zamaretto Midlands.

I spoke to Ryans Grandad he told me he is on a Contract.

I don't know but if he hasn't been paid for 13 weeks are Burnham in breach of his contract and therefore the contract null and void?

Jarvis has said the players haven't been paid for 13 weeks but of couse this could mean most of them haven't been paid the ones on contract have.
