Those idiots who voted him PFA Player of the Year (footballers) and Sports Personality of the Year (the general public) on sentiment in 2009 should be ashamed of themselves now.

 

Because he'll be a worthy winner this year - for the year/season (which the awards are meant to be about), not his career - at this rate.

 

If only he'd stayed at the proper Manchester club.

I'm not criticising Ryan, but rather the people who voted him on sentiment.

 

Shoulda been Nemanja 2 years ago, and I'd have gone for Jess Ennis for SPOTY.

 

(Would like to hope Vidic gets it one day, but as a Man City fan that'd mean Man U winning the title...)
