Good win for Manor tonight and could have been more but for the post and a couple of good saves from their keeper.

Fricking great result Manor.....not an easy place to win, let alone by an emphatic scoreline like that. Well done boys.

 

Tubbs, just got off a sea fishing trip with uncle, as we hit land the texts came through - well chuffed ha ha UP THE MANOR. Yakked loadsn son.

 

Another very very important result for Stansted, brings the top 5 closer.

 

Also, anyone know where Takeley got that from...any new/loaned players for Midweek?

Another great result for Manor - I have heard that there is a good vibe at the club at the moment, would be great if they can push Stansted / Enfield all the way..!!

Well played Manor - deserved the win. Would have been different if we'd taken the free header we had right on half time. But second half we never really got going

 

A well organised strong side who will push the others all the way - shame that Bealey is leaving. Understand that was his last game yesterday ???

Would say though that the continual berating of the ref and moaning at any tackle was a bit over the top from the Manor bench - but it worked as the ref definelty went with you in the second half. May have to try those tactics myself next game lol

Thanks mate - thought it was an even first half to be fair and that was a good chance for you just before ht - could have been different had it gone in.

 

As far as i'm aware mate he's not going anywhere at the moment. Enjoying it here and he knows a few of us and good mates with the coach.

 

Thought the ref made some very strange decisions both ways last night and the one where the assistant ref gave offside when you had a player on each post and the gk on the line was a gem!!

 

One thing you know in the ESL is that if you don't shout you don't get......

Yep we were blown away in the second half by a side that currently looks as good as any---strong,committed and actually the movement during the second period was impressive.Definitely contenders----aside from Ramblers obviously( not this year!) I couldn't want anyone else to win it more----nice people.
