At frimley green

Anyone know the proper score. I've updated pitchero as 5-3 to FNE as it says on the bulletin but on here it says CB won 5-3

Where was the Farborough North End game played this evening, or are they back at their ground?

Is there a reason why the Hayes Gate game was postponed again tonight?

as you must know daniel, hayes gate are tenants at a ground. so one would assume, that a ref has deemed pitch un playable. same as chessingtons. if there is another reason, maybe whitelaw could advice us. it sounds from your post you are dubious re this.coffee%20%282%29.gif

From the Knaphill website. As already stated Westfield were the better side second half and were unlucky not to come away with anything.

Knaphill recorded their sixth consecutive win over local rivals Westfield at Woking Park on Tuesday night in a seven goal thriller. Knaphill preparations were disrupted beforehand when right back Dan Cox was ruled out through injury, which meant new signing Jack Williams made his debut at right back.

In a game of two halves, Knaphill hit the crossbar twice in 30 seconds and then went into a two goal lead courtesy of goals from Chris Fox(pictured) and a sublime lob from Woody Cardona. However our hosts equalised shortly before half time.

Nick Darnell failed to appear for the second half after picking up a ankle injury late in the first half, this seemed to disrupt Knaphill which allowed Westfield back into the game and our hosts drew level.

However Ricky Hogsden, who had only been on the pitch a matter of minutes, put Knaphill 3-2 in front with his first touch. Westfield started to dominate proceedings, which was evident early in the second half, they drew level once again and then missed a couple of good opportunities to take the lead. However Chris Fox popped up to bundle home the winner in the last minute to claim all three points and register Knaphill's fourth consecutive win since the turn of the year.

Sandhurst 3 Chalfont St Peter 1

Excellent result for Sandhurst following on from Saturday's good performance against Colliers Wood. CsP are flying in the Spartan League and I overheard one of the CsP committee members saying that the team was rotated etc. If that was the case, I don't expect that CsP would have wanted to lose the game, and it was well deserved for Sandhurst.

Sandhurst took the lead when our centre half Buck volleyed with his weaker foot from a corner and the lead was extended when Mepham fired in at the goalies near post.

In the second half both sides pushed forward, CsP looking to get back into it and Sandhurst looking to kill it off. CsP pulled a goal back when an unnecessary free kick was conceeded on the corner of the penalty area and following on from that, Sandhurst had to defend well to keep CsP at bay (who by this time had apparantely brought on their top scorer).

Sandhurst secured the win with about 20 to go when a good move was finished by Mepham finished from 18 yards.

CsP still pushed on and brought out two good saves out of Ruggles in goal but Sandhurst saw the game out and booked a home semi-final against Flackwell Heath. This is the second successive County Cup semi-final for Sandhurst and we hope we go one better than last year.

CsP commitee members said we deserved the victory and I could not agree more.

I watched the game with good company and that helps enjoy the game more.

Finally, as it was Burns Night and one of our committee members is Scottish (Jock McKinnon for those know him), we had Jock lead the teams out with bagpipes playing over the tannoy and then we had haggis after the game.

Epsom and Ewell 1 Camberley 3

After a fairly non descript first half (i.e virtually nothing happened ) we took the lead with a goal which was nearly missed but a flap from the keeper bounced it on to Jay Holden and it bounced in. After that Epsom played some really good stuff for 20 mins or so . Then Camberley equalised from a poor defensive goal from our point of view and having done virtually nothing chance wise themselves the game turned . In the first minute of extra time they got a deflected shot - by the end of the half hour we were wishing they'd done it 2 minutes earlier and saved half hour of our lives .

The effect of the equaliser was like letting the air out of a lilo and there was little in response from our side and no surprise when a third came . A classic goals change games game - best of luck to Cambo in the next round . There's still the packed league programme to look forward to even without any more weather.

Not dubious, just looking for confirmation as we haven't had much rain in our area in the last week.

Morning, good night as we picked up a deserved point, could have gone in at half time 1 nil but chance went just over, 2nd half farely even with Hartley pressing us in last 10-15 minutes,Tony pulled off 1 good save apart from that everything they hit was from JJs range.

Game played in a great spirit with both sides fully commited

Very enjoyable game at Anvil Lane last night, lots of attacking intent from both sides, and a fair amount of interesting defending (well non-defending really) from the back lines.

Our official report is below.

Mole Valley SCR 5-3 Bookham

Mole Valley SCR moved into the Quarter Finals of the EL Records Premier Challenge Cup, on Tuesday night, with a hard fought 5-3 victory over an improving Bookham side.

It was Bookham who started the brighter, forcing a succession of early corners, but failing to trouble Leigh Bowden in the Valley goal.

Valley were struggling to get a foothold in the game, but should have taken the lead on the quarter hour mark, a free kick reached Liam Holden, unmarked in the area, but his shot was well saved by Chris Peck in the Bookham goal. Peck was to deny Holden a few minutes later, with an even better save.

With both sides showing attacking intent, it was only a matter of time before a goal was scored, and Valley took the lead on 27 minutes when Tyrone Roberts curled home a left foot strike from 20 yards. Almost immediately Bookham equalised. Valley failed to clear a corner and Russell Hart crashed the ball home from close range.

Both sides went close again, before Valley retook the lead on 37 minutes, when a Richard Smith free-kick was allowed to drift across the Bookham area, and headed home by the unmarked Aaron Smith, to give Valley a 2-1 half time lead.

There were goals galore in the second half, as both sides forgot how to defend.

Valley increased their lead on 55 minutes, when Liam Holden picked the ball up 25 yards from goal and crashed home an unstoppable left footed drive for 3-1.

Bookham refused to lie down and were level within 7 minutes. Firstly Bowden spilled an innocuous cross from the left, and David Francis fired home the loose ball, and almost immeadiately Valley gave up possession and Nathan Ayling somehow lobbed the giant keeper for 3-3.

Both sides continued to create chances, but it was Valley who finished the stronger. On 75 minutes a massive punt by Bowden dropped invitingly for Holden and he lobbed the advancing Peck.

With 10 minutes to go Valley sealed victory when Nemo Adams waltzed round three challenges and crashed home an unstoppable shot for 5-3.

Thought you played quite deep as a midfield and did not support front line enough. Wide men not used enuf especially Jameson ( who was with me last year...lovely lad ) and your no 7 ( I think ) has to learn to release the ball quicker. Up top not enuf quality service and again midfield too deep to support. I think there were a lot of chances that were missed for both sides but overall a good fast paced match with what was the right result.

Lost 2-1 at Badshot Lea.

Evenly balanced game saw Badshot score first after 25mins but within a min we were level. the winning goal scored with 20minutes left by our former forward. We almost snatched an equaliser at the death but just wasn't to be
