Chris Moore

Urchino posted earlier that he believes he may have left the club? Who knows???? I don't want to appear to be critical of the club, but I would have thought it would be helpful if they actually came out and confirm who has departed, as all we are getting at the moment is gossip and rumour mongering. To my knowledge, no official announcement has been made with regard to Kevin Marsden, Rizzo or Chris Moore, as to whether they are or aren’t at the club.

my apologies guys....as you know we have all been busy in the Northern Tundras and have obviously been less than dilligent in terms of information...

kevin marsden...chris moore...mark risley and barry fox have all left the club by mutual consent...it is true to say that GB did inform them that they would not be featured as regular first team players and as I understand things...agreements were reached in respect of the contractual obligations...

I also understand that the players have left on good terms albeit perhaps disappointed....

we have to put any personal views on these departures aside...GB is the manager and he has to pick the team....but...I'm still disappointed to see them go as I believe that they were all good players....

but then again...I aint a premier league manager....

now where are those 'Officials' when you need 'em....

messing around in helicopters probably.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I agree with Urchin Boy...its time for the exodus to stop !!

A week that has seen three fine defenders,Marsden,Moore and Risley go and leave an alarming lack of back up,a week where new forwards arrive while others have hardly had a chance..cue Finlay and even Steve west come to that (!) surely bought for his goals although I have to say he has done a great job in defence.

One of the strengths last season, particularly after the arrival of Moore,Southan and Vinnie John was that we became a potent and most importantly cohesive team.

I understand that George Borg needs to stamp his identity and if John Martin, improving every game and looking real class and the impressive Danny Gay,the omens are good.

There must though be too much pressure on players knowing that not only the axe threatens but even the door itself if they have just one bad game !

True nobody wants players to become complacent and too comfortable but please let them have a chance before they are given the boot !

Vinnie John, quite simply,is an oustanding player

who even when not scoring supplies the ammunition

for others.Andrew Martin does a job too.The fact new forwards are arriving should not send them tumbling down the pecking order.the new players like the old ones have to prove themselves.its great to see new arrivals but we must also want to see a team spirit develop and also some semblance of a settled team !

A manager who is prepared to be ruthless and lack sentiment is important so hopefully Jamie Southan can take heart that as unexpected was his exclusion from the starting eleven against Bishop Stortford he stands just as good a chance of

getting straight back in again....at least I sincerely hope so because in 6 of the previous 7 games he had performed brilliantly !!

Gotta agree with all of ya, cor..never said that before, there needs to be a bit of time for the team to Gell together. George didn't have a pre-season to experiment with the side, and as the side have played well in alot of matches i don't honestlly see the need for any more new signings after Bradley.

It would be laughable to think that this would make us dislike the new players they are welcomed to the club by all of us with open arms, it is just a worry when you sense players seem dejected and some players leave like Mooro without a decent chance.

But we must not be fickle and complain about new signings as we wouldn't have competed in the League this season without new additions, but just eight games into the season is there really a need to add to the squad (except in central defence where we need back up, now the Three Amigos have left ) ?

The new signings George has brought in have been great, and played the way we have wanted them to play, just please George don't forget the Old Guard just yet !
