it will be interesting to see if the wheels start to come off the Guildford bus now that they are out of the Vase and the Surrey Senior Cup. 1 or 2 players may now leave for higher clubs where they can be earning some decent wedge!

 

Some players may have had in their minds to stay and hope they reach a Wembley final !

 

 

Johnno the Guildford Side from Manager down to Players,are as I have said before, a very tight knit squad,and mates of the pitch.What you suggest will not happen.TRUST ME.

 

 

Yeah, I think JJ is trying to stir something out of nothing there.... As for the state of the RVP pitch... I got there just after half time and was amazed the rest of the game was played.... I also think the words mountain and molehill come to mind Smudgey.... I remember AH when he was a slimmer chap down at Walton.... he was just as much a character then.... to come on and shout someone's name out on a forum is a bit petty.... you should of done it to his face if you had a problem.... RVP were were happy to win.... AH didnt ruin their pitch - infact made no difference at all.... they'll have a nice quarter final tie.... move on... enjoy life....

In all my years of watching Football,I have never witnessed the antics by any Player that compares to what Anthony Hall did last night after losing fairly to R.P.V.Now any of you who know the said Player,know he is not a Lightweight,to say the least.The R.P.V. Groundstaff had worked hard under difficult conditions to get the game on,the pitch was heavy as the game progressed as you would expect.But for Mr.HALL his way of celebrating his Teams loss,was to run 10yds and do a belly (of which he has a bit)dive straight across the 6 yd Area,not once but twice.Mr Hall you should learn to RESPECT what people do in this game of Football for you,but after last night's antics you CLEARLY HAVE NO RESPECT,YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOURSELF,BUT ALSO THE CLUB YOU REPRESENT,GROW UP YOUNG MAN!!!!!!

 

Chill out Smudge! You sound as if he's killed someone or something! Probably not the best thing to do but after 90mins of football im guessing a couple of Klinsmann's wouldnt have made much difference!

I'm alright thanks Smudge. I actually have a life outside this website. I dont have a personal issue with you but it just seems some of your pointless threads (like this one) somewhat annoy me. You just seem to be a very busy man who i'm bored of reading pointless posts from so am therefore expressing my opinions.

 

Chill out, go to work? Visit your family? Watch a film? Read a book? Do some gardening? Play Scrabble? How about decorate a bedroom? .....There are other things in life.

 

LONGY3,this may be a bite,no it is a bite,but why should i take notice of a nameless ,faceless person,who has not taken up my offer to ring me.I am a totally chilled,retired Postman,happily married for 45 yrs, I have 3 Children, 8 Lovely Grandchildren,10 Greatgrandchildren,My Life is how I want it to be,free to go and do whatever i want to do by myself or with my Family.I do have a passion for Football which I AM FREE TO DO.I pay my way when going to matches ie Entrance,Food,Beer,golden Goal,been known to go to 3 games a week.I Joined this site just over a year ago,think I have contributed to it's ever increasing popularity,get articles pinned and posted about future and current events.Met many Great People through this site who I now know personally.Was part of a great charity event that raised £££s for Terminally ill children,and then you come along,no football related posts,just digs at me,or comments i make.The Official C.C.L. website was crap before I raised the issue,now it is excellent.The only downside is you.What have you contributed NIL

Smudge is the biggest reason why we have a great member base on the ccl forum and on most occasions his points and views are spot on. Not everyone likes his opinions, and many will disagree or have a different view but they are always very honest opinions.

We may not always agree with Smudge but I am sure that 99% of us like the fact that he speaks his mind.

 

He is honest and obviously cares a great deal about local football.

 

We missed him when he disappeared for a while and I for one welcome his opinions and if he ruffles a few feathers here and there then so be it
