In all my years of watching Football,I have never witnessed the antics by any Player that compares to what Anthony Hall did last night after losing fairly to R.P.V.Now any of you who know the said Player,know he is not a Lightweight,to say the least.The R.P.V. Groundstaff had worked hard under difficult conditions to get the game on,the pitch was heavy as the game progressed as you would expect.But for Mr.HALL his way of celebrating his Teams loss,was to run 10yds and do a belly (of which he has a bit)dive straight across the 6 yd Area,not once but twice.Mr Hall you should learn to RESPECT what people do in this game of Football for you,but after last night's antics you CLEARLY HAVE NO RESPECT,YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOURSELF,BUT ALSO THE CLUB YOU REPRESENT,GROW UP YOUNG MAN!!!!!!

Have to say that I did not see the incident you refer to last night but I agree with the sentiment. It has been a very difficult time for groundstaff throughout the league and just trying to get a game on has cost a lot of time and money over the last few weeks. I really do think that a lot of the time players give no consideration to what goes on behind the scenes BY VOLUNTEERS in order that they can come out and play. GET OVER YOURSELVES AND LOOK AROUND YOU WHEN YOU ARE AT THE GROUND - DO YOU THINK IT ALL HAPPENS BY MAGIC???

His brother started the game and it was him who was sent off. Anthony came on to replace Simon Cooper - not at sweeper though, but in goal.

Just adding to that, the groundsman told me last night that they clean their boots on the dressing room walls, obviously bagging them against the wall. There was equipment outside the dressing rooms for cleaning boots.

I wont get drawn into a long drawn out campaign against those clubs who have the worst reputations but we know who they are, as do we all!

Yeah, I think JJ is trying to stir something out of nothing there.... As for the state of the RVP pitch... I got there just after half time and was amazed the rest of the game was played.... I also think the words mountain and molehill come to mind Smudgey.... I remember AH when he was a slimmer chap down at Walton.... he was just as much a character then.... to come on and shout someone's name out on a forum is a bit petty.... you should of done it to his face if you had a problem.... RVP were were happy to win.... AH didnt ruin their pitch - infact made no difference at all.... they'll have a nice quarter final tie.... move on... enjoy life....

I'm alright thanks Smudge. I actually have a life outside this website. I dont have a personal issue with you but it just seems some of your pointless threads (like this one) somewhat annoy me. You just seem to be a very busy man who i'm bored of reading pointless posts from so am therefore expressing my opinions.

 

Chill out, go to work? Visit your family? Watch a film? Read a book? Do some gardening? Play Scrabble? How about decorate a bedroom? .....There are other things in life.
