The football Stadium seams to be the problem to those local residents I spoke to, Their are more than one the stadium could be built and out of vision from the residents who are most opposed to this future vision for our Town ! It happens that it maybe Britwell that gets it...as oppossed to Wexham where we wanted it, However the problems of Wexham Park are so clear to us, we need to tell the residents and the coucillors nothing is as simple as just going back to Wexham Park !

We don't own it , The Thornes did not want us ! it is planing nightmere with South Bucks we are out of the area of Slough ! We are not a part of the community because we were unable to use the groun but for match days ! The problems are long and varied..

 

As for the risk of the Britwell residents feeling isolated and sad that Kennedy park will be built on and destroyed, who knows what plans maybe divised...Remember of the 35 acres planned only

13 acres will be the football stadium and faclities ...

 

We as the supporters want to see a Stadium for all of Slough's residents and for the stadium be for all.....and for the stadium to be offordable and open to everyone...

 

As for some conversations to the Britwell residents I think a comment from one of the anti football ones , was I support West Ham and could not care less about Slough....just sums up shallow some people can be...

 

We are Slough Residents and we want to support Slough our Town's team and its our Town too....

The people of Northborough Estate have completly differnant feelings as they have already commented the benifits will out way the maybe few problems...this estate will get facilties that they need too....

 

lets not throw stones before the plans and feasablity plans are drawn up and see....

 

As for the kids groups in Britwell that Pat Shine runs , we would like to see them with a chance to play for Slough Town FC ...thats what we want and as an organisation will be very happy to help in these matters...
