Mr Happy

To all my friends (and foes!!!) . On 17th April I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation. This fantastic charity provides magical wishes for Children with life limiting and life threatening conditions. They have given my daughter Shannon and my nephew Steven wishes and I now want to give them something back. Your support is greatly appreciated and here is the link to my JustGiving page:

Pah.....Training is for wimps, In 2007 I turned up at the start line, with not one mile of training done, a mobile phone in my pocket, £50 in cash....(in case i needed to get a cab half way round) & not one bit of vaseline!

5 hrs 50 odd mins later I crossed the finish line, in a state of total mental & physical exhaustion, seriously I sat on the kerb waiting for my mate then when i tried to get up I couldnt, I was rolling around like a beached whale.

I did raise £3200 for whizz kids wheelchair charity, but would i do it again????? Definatly, a superb day but next time......i would do a load of TRAINING!!!!
