Received my £5 Girls Aloud album from Amazon this morning, and stuck it on at lunchtime.

 

Well good - this is what throwaway pop music should sound like. None of that poncey Westlife or Will Young rubbish. Girls Aloud have got balls!!

 

Track 3, Some Kind Of Miracle, is superb. Sounds like a mix of Dubstar and Blondie. Has to be the next single - people need to buy this album!!

Although rarely venture off tracks 1 and 2

First half is well good.

 

Second half is slipping a bit into Lisa Scott-Lee/Dannii Minogue territory though, which is a bit disappointing.

 

Check out track 3, mate. Every bit as good as the first two singles.

There's a line in one of the songs which goes something like "we don't want a guy who spends his nights watching telly, drinking and cultivating his beer belly".
