Back to the original post on this one....Stony Stratford, bottom of Division 1, no ground grading in place, and now hiring the services of the ex-Old Bradwell United reserve team manager as their new first team manager.....slow sinking ship, surely?

Love the Game - Why make a decent post and then spoil it by bringing me into it, when I have a dig at a Club, be it Hatfield Town, Haringey Borough, Kentish Town, London Colney or Padbury United I do it for good reason.

When Craig was at the club I think you'll find any money that was available came from either his own pocket or sponsorship....the club itself were just on a crest of a wave, successful or not mattered little to them so think Craig was very much on his own.

And I think the club's latest appointment shows their ambition, but it has been a long time coming.

It's been 16 years since they last ran a summer youth tournament which obviously generated income, had one of the best youth set up's but all that's gone now, with no income and little money to complete the necessary ground requirements the club is just going through the motions, it's a shame but it's fact, and if they do get relegated find it hard to see how they'll ever come back up again, and once the present committee who've been around a long time decide enough is enough have no one in place to take it on.

Hope time proves I am wrong as they are nice people who have and do give up a lot of their spare time....but the way it's been going of late just cannot see it.

Why play with a keeper, thats a bit defensive isn't it?

Go with the 1-1-9 formation.....but be careful if they get into your half!!!!
