Raynes Park 4 v 2 Guildford City,a reasonable game played on a heavy pitch.Guildford rested many Players for this tie,but things were to get worse for them when Michael Hall brought down a R.P.V. Player just outside the box,the Ref rightly showed red as the keeper was the last man,Guildford down to 10.But believe it or not Guildford rushed into a 2-0 lead, through bad defending, and clinical finishing by Joel Hughes. Game over one would think but R.P.V. are made of stern stuff these days, and helped by poor Guidford Defending and the Linesman flagging a clear off side goal,R.P.V. equalised. 2-2 at Half time.Game on.I think the writing was on the wall when Joel Greaves came on at H/T as a Central Midfielder playing the holding role.Is this not the prolific goal scoring machine, where GUILDFORD IN IT TO WIN IT,I THINK NOT.Gacheru scored 2 x 2nd half goals to secure victory for a well deserved R,P.V. Victory. THE OTHER WINNER ON THE NIGHT SURREY F.A. 6 BOOKINGS 1 STRAIGHT RED in a game that was hard fought but never dirty.FIONA CHEESEMAN will be happy though dishing out those fines.

Presumably it is the 6 yellow cards that you are not happy about as by your own admission the red card was correct???

Footy, maybe my post is a bit misleading, the Ref had a good game, let down by his lino for 2nd R.P.V. Goal, which was clearly offside, and led to a booking for contesting the decision.Just did not seem a 7 booking game,Surrey F.a WIN AGAIN,The bookings were warranted, kicking a ball away, throwing a ball at someone's back from a one handed throw in.Think the Ref was named after Britain's second biggest City, but not sure.

Smudge, i couldn't agree more with your analysis of the game :) was definately a red, and maybe 1 or 2 yellows were worthy for both sides, but not as many as there were!

They are raking it in...

I personally aren't sure if RVP's pitch will endure another 90 minutes after last night's game.... it looked really cut up from the side... not sure what it was like on there though you never can tell.....
