Couldn't believe the negativity around the ground when we were one-nil up, and that seems to have transpired onto here. Granted it wasn't a classic, but we're a team short on confidence at the moment and, given our poor recent home form, I think it's natural for the players to be nervous with only a one-goal lead. We can play a lot better, of course. But the most important thing is to get the three points. Sort out the 'decent football' side of it later.

I stood next to some old chaps (sorry i dont mean that to sound bad saying old but im only 23 lol) who criticised lacey from the off set...I had to say something to them because its just not right criticising players...if you want to criticise so much be a man and tell them to their face...i admit I have moaned about players in the past but I dont want to criticise them any more, like you said Dutch_Mike they are short of confidence and need morale boosting

Oh and I understand this is a forum and people have their own opinions which is totally understandable, people should be able to say how they feel...its just some people go too far!lol

The important thing at the moment is to get to those 50 points as quickly as possible.

 

Then we can start playing pretty 'Barca' type football and let the good times begin. After we have become to Barca we can aspire to be ATHLETIC and move on up the leagues.
