I feel this postponement is good news. Daventry are a big tough and uncompromising team who,like us , raise their game against the better teams Hitchin only equalized

in added time and Arlesey in the last five minutes I didnt fancy meeting them on a heavy wet pitch and we have the added bonus of 7 clear days before the important game with Woodford who will only rest for 3 days which should give us an edge.

Just got back from a weekend away. Actually we'd got 10 miles North of Aylesbury when Chris finally got hold of us. There was nothing else but to turn back and we would have just cycled all the way back had we not been going away for the weekend. So by the time Kay met us outside of Wycombe we'd done 55 miles in vein!

 

Was very wet, much more so than forecast, with a strong headwind so a tough ride. I'm hoping those who have sponsored us will take into account our aborted 55 miles!!
