MISA APPEAL

AncientBlue

Recommended Posts

THE MISA CHAIRMAN has asked me to make this appeal:

Is there anyone out there who has a serviceable (working) washing machine or tumble dryer or both

that is no longer required and could donate them to MISA.

With the cost of cleaning all the kit for the first and reserve teams increasing all the time

MISA have come to the conclusion that we should if feasible wash all the kit ourselves.

SO IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN HELP IN THIS ENDEAVOUR, YOUR ASSISTANCE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Contact: Keith Lewis on 01843 226963 or PM me.

Regards - MISA COMMITTEE.

Are MISA not able to use any funds they have ?

Sadly no G.T. We already pay for the commercial laundering of the kit. We pay for the food for all the catering facilities, including players meals, sponsors and directors hospitality.

Sadly due to the falling attendances at games, we are at about break even point with the catering outlets (staff wages taken into account).

Sadly the membership of the Supporters club has a head count in the low 50's - so very little money from membership fees.

Sadly it comes down, all thing taken together that MISA has little or no money at all.

Sadly most of the maintenance during the year is done by MISA members with materials paid for by MISA.

IN OTHER WORDS EVERY PENNY WE MAKE IS GOING TO THE CLUB - IN THE FIGHT TO KEEP IT AFLOAT.

Has Mummy Bunnys offer been taken up ?

That aside-last year margate shot did an excelant job organising player sponsorship from the 'exiles'.

I just wondered whether a few exiles may find £20 apiece and perhaps help part fund a new washing machine-sponsored by 'the exiles'?

Afterall -its more likely to be a permanet fixture to sponsor -than the more transistory player .
