Last Night's Dream

Had this bizarre dream last night that I was out on the piss in Fishpool Street with Laz, CANV, Jolly, Libro, Thorns and Lawyer.

 

Laz kept buying these sky blue cocktails which were served in these massive three-pint brandy glasses (filled to the top of course) and seeing who could down them the quickest.

 

Then Laz brought back this plate which was filled with these tiny bits of meat (bit odd as he's a veggie) and we all had to eat a piece of meat one at a time. Except one of these pieces of meat had this really strong chili stuff in it, and whoever got that had to down half a bottle or brandy.

 

Then CANV produced this weird bottle of booze from his rucksack he was wearing and we all had to drink a bit and it gave us these mad hallucinations. It was called "Wizard of Oz" or something. There was a picture of the Scarecrow and Tin Man on it anyway.

 

And the next thing we know, we're down by the lake at Verulamium and Thorns and Lawyer are having a fencing match whilst 808 State did a gig in the background.

i created a hipflask full of something special last season for orient southend which was subsequently called 'the chalkwell mix' i have never been able to recreate it.. i seem to recall it included southern comfort, archers and some 'value' whisky plus a few other odds n ends.... i tried a similar thing using the usual southern comfort , archers and cheap whiskey but i used brandy as my 'guest bitter' and it really didnt work.. i wish i could remember that elusive 4th ingredient
