Smudge, that seems a little unfair calling the County FAs moneygrabbers.

I am just found it a little frustrating when a linesman decided he couldnt tell the ref he had seen one of our players kicked off the ball because he was to far away! you will never find me slating refs as they have an impossible job and can never get everything right just as managers and players don't but that doesn't mean I won't get frustrated!!

I am just found it a little frustrating when a linesman decided he couldnt tell the ref he had seen one of our players kicked off the ball because he was to far away! you will never find me slating refs as they have an impossible job and can never get everything right just as managers and players don't but that doesn't mean I won't get frustrated!!

 

Can understand your frustration.

My understanding is that as an assistant you do not get involved in giving decisions that are not in your area ... a referee is not going to thank you for telling him that you have seen a foul from 50 yards away that he didn't see (or saw and didn't think was a foul) from 10 yards away.

But ....... violent conduct is a different matter. Assistants wherever they are (or a fourth official if appointed) should bring acts of violent conduct to the referees attention if they are 100% certain of what they have seen

A small fine then DT10?.My advice learn another Language,how the refs cope in the PREMIERSHIP i will never know.Baise mon coulle an example.

In my view I wouldnt give anything trivial from a distance. If I saw violent conduct anywhere on the pitch I would alert the match referee to what I saw and what sanction I would take and then it is down to him.
