BANNERS

A year or so ago we bought some banners to advertise our home games,we put them up in some good places but the council took them down and destroyed them

A Parrot has gone missing so the owner puts some boards up and the council remove them but do not destroy them, they leave them by the side of the road for the owner to collect.Don't get me wrong,i like parrots in their own habitat, somewhere in asia, south america etc etc but why were our banners destroyed and these ones not, surely the council could of just returned them to us or if destroying them is their policy destroyed the ones of the parrot??

Hi Gooner,

I am quite sure that to put posters/advertising banners up around any borough with out council permision , can lead to them being removed by the council. i am also quite sure that you are leaving yourself open to a fine from the council for everyone that is put up.

Putting a poster in shop windows etc is ok but to put them banners up on walls etc and you are leaving yourself open to financial reprocussions. It may be worth having a word with the local council as people deal with sort of thing for a living.
