Mostly because I've been intrigued, on my visits to yr place, by the scouse link on one of yr flags. Got to nail that one down and, given there was a spawny draw in the derby last Sunday, obviously also the chance for some banter.

Frost here at the moment but the pitch is level and grassy so unless it is truly awful on Friday night should be ok, if a bit 'firm'.

Way we are at the moment, pretty awful, the possibility of youse getting back those three points we webbed off you way back in August is deffo there. Very pleased to see that Mr Bullivant is fit again. Looking forward to the banter with him as well.

Have a safe journey.

Cheers Ciren, last Saturday was a farce what with the weather and the ref. If we turn up and play how we can I would say your defence could have a ragged day, but as we all know things very rarely go to plan or as you expect so I shall just HOPE we can drag back our 3 points. Possibly our worst performance was against yourselves and you took the opportunity well.

You have a young lad called Hoskins who plays for you as well don't you, be interesting to meet up with his dad if he comes along, i used to stand side by side with him on the terraces and be nice to catch up as I missed him if he came to our ground.

Hosky is currently out - sadly, he has torn his hamstring. Good, good player. Sean Hoskin usually turns up - sometimes he does something else on a Saturday! - and he has often mentioned that when he was in the area Stag Meadow was his place of choice ....

Sadly, a bit too cold to wander around and find people so if Fuzzy was there, sorry I missed you. Mentioned you to Sean so maybe he came to find you?

Good, end to end match. I though youse played the better set up footy by far, and while Chennells three times got into superb positions very pleased he only hit the target once. Though how Woozley missed that sitter only he will ever know - great clearance header, mind.

Big hand fr yr manager - afterwards, he took the time to have an encouraging word with our young kid, Connor Thompson. Much appreciated by the lad. Incidentally, on our lot it was Sysum not Tomkins who was carded early, claiming a ball had gone out for a throw when it was very clearly not fully off the pitch. Foul and abusive language, rightly carded by the ref. As was Owens, when he went ballistic late first half when Brown had gone away and he thought it was offside. That one wasn't offside, as it happened. Though, second half the same lino got it badly wrong the other way three times! Gah.

Best of luck with fighting off and through the current situation. If the worst comes to the worst, hope the player loyalty continues. They should appreciate that they are being well coached, are in a good team, and they can only continue to enjoy their footy. Scholing have built a young team on loyalty and are reaping the rewards now. The four who left you this summer for Hemel are I suspect not enjoying their footy as much (!) Youse will come back up very quickly

Well i asked around for Sean but he was nowhere to be seen. to be fair Cirenpylonsider you wouldn't have had to look to hard, not exactly a packed ground to have to find anyone LOL!!!

thanks for your kind words but I would be surprised if we do continue and if we went down I would be very surprised if a majority of the players stayed. The players, in my opinion, should be playing at this level as a minimum with a fair few that could play at a higher level and possibly football league. You cannot expect them to stay and play in teh combined counties league out of loyalty, plus it is not like they have got us relegated or anything like that, they have displayed fantastic charactor and dedication to stay and perform as they have this season with so much negativity going on. I would wish any player well if they were to go and hope they prove how good they are, if they were to stay i would say we would move through the divisions like a hot knife through butter and be back near the top of Div 1 and pushing for Premier status again. Very tough to get out that S&W Div 1.

I thought we deserved the win Saturday, especially the second half, you would have thought Ciren had 10 men in my opinion. Shoulda, coulda, woulda means nothing and just a point, but ultimately I guess you are going to lose 4 points come the beginning of Feb.

Good luck for the season and hopefully see you again sometime soon

Get off, that was a big crowd. For us.

Understand yr point that it might be unrealistic for young players to hang around but these days you never know. The greenbacks may look greener in other pastures but, and I'm not being over romantic here, sometimes players take a view that playing good football with mates is more rewarding. And from the style of play Mr M and Mr W have your lot playing, they should be bright enough to recognise that.

Totally disagree youse should have won it cheesy%20%282%29.gif Rob Bullivant was far busier - your lads got some really juicy approach work in but it was much more rare for it to end in a threat on young Steward. Though I would agree that in the final 10 mins it was getting edgy and I would not have been surprised, though disappointed, if you'd managed to work Chennells in.

Whatever happens, stick with them and I'm sure we'll be seeing your lot again. I enjoy my trips to Windsor and hope it will not be long. One thing - Totton, despite their result yesterday, I suspect will implode and it may be Sholing that win it and Frome that go up in the play-offs. We shall see.

Whilst I bow to your superior knowledge, can you give me some reasoning behind your predictions, they seem a little out of kilter with current form.

I tipped Sholing at the start of the season and see no reason to change my mind but with Budny's pernicious influence no longer creating unrest in the dressing room it may well be that AFC Totton's luck will change. Good luck to them both.

Totton were the best team, in my opinion, I saw play Windsor over the past two seasons. how on earth they only managed 2 point out of 12 off of us is still a mystery to me. On results Truro were clearly the best team but it took sendings off to get them the advantage and very poor refereeing at their place to secure the victory.

Sholing or Totton are decent bets, but Totton have experience of being in the hot seat and they didn't bottle it last year,. 100 points should win the league but how exceptional was last year. It was for Windsor to lose and ultimately we held our nerve.

Should be an exciting run in either way, and not just two teams either hopefully.

I would argue that if we went down, Mudge would go to a new club and take the players with him. No arguments if he did, you cannot expect players of that quality to play 3 divisions below whemn they are performing so well at this level

Did Scott connect with Mason's knee in that challenge...?

No, it was not a dirty game, one of sholing sent off but that was because he gobbed off at the ref for his first yellow and didi not even wait for the card for the second foul in the last minute or so
