Thank you for the clarification Compaq. Would have been easier if you would make this clear to people when you meet them as well. Have you had your wrists slapped by Mr Spillane regarding your outburst?

 

Goldenboots, I have never come across you but you talk some sense. People seem more fascinated with joining this forum simply to take a shot at my good self. I would have thought people have better things to do. This is primarily directed at The Detective, Insular and Overrated and a couple of others.

 

The truth is out there guys and I will bring it to you.

 

Lol people are not stupid,anyone involved within the essex senior league at present knows who the current manager of stansted football club is and as previously stated long may it continue,outburst what outburst as you well know its called freedom of speech lol.

 

 

It states clearly on wikipedia Darren George is manager of Stansted. An easy mistake to make on my part or any other onlookers.

LOL, it's very easy to Edit Wikipedia but you've spelt Darran's name wrong.

I have followed the spelling on Wikipedia Hookey.

 

On a seperate note I would like to take issue with you over something.

 

Only twice have you entered into dialogue with me. The first time you were being anal over the spelling of dulldrums/dolldrums. Now you are pestering me about the spelling of someone's name. Quite frankly spelling "Darren" with A-N instead of E-N is ridiculous. Secondly, it is even more stupid penalising me for spelling it incorrectly. How would I know how his name is spelt.

 

I am in a bad mood so will probably regret my next comment when i calm down but......

No. As I'm sure everyone else is aware, it was a made up anecdote, just to see if you would take 'credit' for getting a made-up rumour on air. Which you have duly done.

It also says stansted and BGU pay wages but i cant see that cause surly they would spend the money on getting there grounds up to rymans standard, then paying players to win a league they cant get out of. or maybe im missing somethink here.

Insular, I did not insinuate this information was fictional. I merely questioned the sanity of anyone who would go on radio spouting the words of an "unknown". Back on topic, Paul Sturrock is unlikely to announce any signings live on air until they are a "done deal".

 

I won't be at the Terrence McMillan tonight. My daughter Selina has chior practice so I am taking Amy to the Harvester for an all you can eat salad bar.

Dear Mr Hoff, you've misunderstood my post. I was suggesting that you had edited Wikipedia and had mispelt Darran's name there. meaning it had been edited by someone with no knowledge of Stansted FC.

 

I was not pulling you up for your spelling of his name in your post. Now that would be anal.

 

I trust that clears up that little misunderstanding.

Gentleman can i please just clarify that i am not and never have been manager of stansted football club,just for those that dont know stansted's manager is terry spillane who has been at the helm at the club for the last 4 seasons and long may it continue,would also like to state that my view are of a personal nature and are not the views of the club i am currently involved with.

League Cup format still over 2 legs is laughable,4/5 weeks lost due to the bad weather and the essex senior committee decide not to change the format,should have been a straight 1 game knockout on the night,midweek slots are needed for league games it seems to me that they want clubs to play 3 games a week surely the priority is to play league games midweek not league cup games played over 2 legs.

 

 

 

 

Before having a go at the league committee they were happy to change it to 1 leg but all the clubs had to vote on it and it had to be a 100% agreement from the clubs and there was three teams that voted against it so it could not be changed
