so the Aldershot fa have cove's next fixture after fleet spurs against Old Farnboronians but the fa.com have us down against ash or frimley!

 

Which one is right??

 

 

 

No idea mate! That's why I thought we could be playing Alton away, but then after seeing the Aldershot FA website its got us down to play Fleet. On the FA.com/full time website all the fixtures have been right so far...

Raynes Park Vale are in trouble if they concede twice against a side that weren't there! ;)

 

I heard that a bunch of guys from the local pub said they were the Guildford team - despite the 8-2 scoreline the victors remarked as to how well Guildford had improved since the last time the two sides met ;)

Given how we did when we last visited Raynes Park, that isn't necessarily too far from the truth!

Alton Town 3 - 4 Old Farnboronians in Aldershot Senior Cup.

 

Alton were 3-0 up aswell!

 

 

Bet your gutted with that aren't you Corbs? Weren't you hoping for an emotional return to the Bass ground?

 

 

Keep an eye on Old Farnboronians,

 

They are leavers from farnborough sixth form college and its a team that offers young players from the college senior football. A lot of good players are playing for us (College team) at the moment who will go on to play for Old Farnboronians. They are managed and joined by the P.E teachers from the college too. Looking to go CCL sooner rather than later.

 

If Cove get past Fleet spurs in the next round of the aldershot senior cup we will play Old Farnboronians in the quarters!

 

They are not all Sixth Form leavers. A few of them have played CCL prem football. Paul Fitzpatrick (ex Ash keeper) is one.

 

 

They have all been with the college at some point, some left and have gone to uni and others went to join other clubs before coming back.

 

Manager is Alan Reed, he's played for MoleValley before, i think but he recently had a knee op so hasn't acctually played in months!
