I was listening to the radio a whole ago and they were talking about the ridiculous catchphrases commentators,managers and fans come out with,it got me thinking and there must be thousands out there,most of them are ridiculous and wouldn't be used in everyday life.see how many we can come up with.i will start

Years ago at the Lane when it was a man's game, fans not segregated and Everton supporters were known to piss in the pockets of people in front of them... I remember a Leeds fan yelling at Bremner to "get some meat on your studs".

 

That was before Dave Mackay got hold of him by the scruff of his shitrfront.

Not exactly a catchphrase but those older ones amongst you might remember a commentator calling Asa Hartford " a whole hearted player". (He actually had a hole in the heart !)

 

Worst of all [****!!****] ups has to be Dickie Davies on World of Sport who said " lets go o

........ It was Third Round of the FA Cup day and I seem to recall that he said,

"let's go over to the c**k sucker" instead of cup soccer. Very funny.
