Few problems down there but they are being allowed to finish the season at least. Looking for clubs to help them host their games. Eversley and HW have helped out so far I think. Know a few people down there so sorry to tsee them in a bad way

I don't think it's quite as straightforward as un-paid rent due for the pitch. I believe there is a slight dispute over the fees agreed with the previous landlord against what the new landlord wishes to charge. Not 100% sure though.

 

I would recommend all clubs to consider helping FNE out during this tricky period though. They have been a pleasure to hire our ground to and they stay late in the clubhouse after the games, putting much needed money behind the bar!

Daniel, spot on. From what i hear Qinetic withrew sponsorship and subsidy to the sports and social club, the s&s club got new independent management and decided that FNE should pay full rent fees not discounting the monies FNE paid over the years towards the ground improvements and the money they pay over the bar on tuesday, thursday and saturday which makes up a large porportion of all income there. Therefore a four figure bill for all fully charged backdated use remains unpaid apparently.

sadly i dont see a future for them past this season unless they can secure a permanent groundshare and attract some sponsorship to pay their way.
