Ellliot Styles: 198 and counting

Since we don't have a home programme for another fortnight, I thought I'd point out that Elliot Styles made his 198th appearance at Cray today. So, all being well, he will reach the 200 mark at Heybridge (if selected). According to our historians, he will be the 18th player who has definitely reached that landmark. At least one and maybe two players from the pre-war years did it as well, but it can't be proved because some of the records are missing.

So, all being well, it will be 200 up at Carshalton. No doubt the travelling army will mark the occasion in suitable style (no pun intended).

Tommo is on 210. Next landmark should be Michael Spencer's 100th, though he's only on 91 at the moment. If he plays every game his ton comes up Feb 19th, Hastings at home. Frankie needs one goal for 10!
