I think i witnessed one of the worst referees at this level i've ever seen today! Having said that i still thought the better team won. They showed us what to do when the wind is in your favour.....SHOOT!

Thought Windsor played well, should have notched a goal or 2 with the wind advantage in the first half but continually played a long ball which got carried too far in the wind. The sending off was rubbish and was only a yellow at best. That similar tackle was mirrored midway through the second half by their centre forward on Woozley and he only got a yellow, and i think that was at a push!

There was a flurry of yellows which broke the game up after half time and thats when they got the first, a mix up between the 2 centre backs resulted in an under pressure clearence from Bullivant which got caught in the wind and the resulting goal came from a long range strike. The second came minutes later when the striker run clear and Bullivant slipped when closing him down, but made a decent save before the striker tapped in the rebound. The 3rd was another long range strike, fair play with that one.

Better team won, but Windsor weren't embarressed. Adam Bernard should have put one away at 2-0 but blazed it over the bar.

Mudge continues to do a wonderful job, the team play neat football and considering where we were pre season i still think we are achieving more than last seasons management and players would have. Proud of the teams efforts this season, hopefully the CVA is sorted soon and we can all look forward to a bright future.

It was never going to be a pretty game with the wind blowing a gale. Stag Meadow is a pretty open ground and when the wind gets up it basically ruins the game.

I too thought we actually played ok. We just don't seem to be getting the rub of the green at the moment at both ends of the pitch.

As for the sending off, I didn't see it (much like the ref by all accounts). Opinion seemed to be split, with some saying his foot was high and he had to go and others saying he didn't even deserve a yellow. One thing everyone seemed to agree on was the fact the ref didn't see it.

The ref was poor. He begun his downfall in the 1st half when he booked Owens for a nothing tackle. In fact from the other end it looked like he clearly got the ball. From that moment on every foul was going to be greeted by calls for a card. He made a series of baffling decisions with Brackley usually benefitting. I would love to know how the late challenge on Gould didn't merit a card.

Anyway we have a run of very winnable games coming up. Hopefully we can get some points on the board before the CVA kicks in.....
