Is he ever coming back? Must be about 3 months since he went on loan and he's scored a few goals there. We seem to be a bit short on striker cover.

Although i have only seen him play for two lots of 45 mins-some people may feel he should be partnering Welford as he does seem to have the knack of scoring.

 

Think his loan was extended for a further month-but must be close to being up.

 

I would like to see him very much involved with the MFC first team

It may do him better to stay at Faversham for rest of season, gain invaluable experience. It does say in todays local we have put a 7 dayer in on a striker.

If we can get another striker, it will be silly to call Waugh back, like Alan said, he is getting good expereince out on loan..but I do feel he could hold his own in the first team and would be a good partner for Welford...

Yes-we do need another striker to play alongside welford-and whilst you can't get everything at once-is in reality the real prority-a combative and quality midfield player-because as blueballs states elsewhere-marsden-yet alone saunders has nor been replaced.

 

I have no problems with rogers/stubbs /wilson as midfield players-all good enough-but they are not 'a class above 'and we do need some real quality in central midfield-thats where games are won and lost.

 

We could sign Ronaldo-but if no-one is there to take control of midfield and give us sufficient possession-it would be no use anyway.

 

Games are mostly won by the team who wins the central misfield battle-and create enough chances and someone will score.

Just read a bit on Faversham's forum from December that suggests Alex is their player now. Not sure if that's true but it has been a while since he was mentioned by MFC.

Just remembered, its my age, that I read a recent Faversham programme from a couple of weeks ago and he was still showing as a loan player on their stats page.

 

As we now have Tom too I can only see the loan stretched to end of the season now.
