Mulitple rumours for you guys. I have had my ear to the ground recently and picked up on the following.

 

- Heybridge FC have sacked manager Wayne Bond to replace him with Keith Wilson of Burnham Ramblers FC

- Garry Kimble will return to manage Burnham FC

- Witham are being investigated by the FA for the number of games their pitch has had postponed

- Unrest behind the scenes at Bowers and Pitsea with some members of the club not fully supporting the first team manager

- A number of the Bowers team were drinking heavily before their New Years Day game with Basildon which is thought to have upset the Manager and supporters

- 3 unnamed Southend Manor are being looked at by Southend Utd

- Canvey manager John Batch is hanging onto his job following their 6-1 defeat at the weekend

- Tilbury and Grays thugs are arranging to meet to finish what they started at the previous meeting

- Clive Day is joining Takeley as a coach and will be taking at least 6 players with him

- Barking have proposed a merger with Eton Manor

 

Sorry I havent posted for a while. I have had my girls at weekends and I have been really busy at work since returning after Xmas.

Heybridge FC made an official approach to Burnham Ramblers last night, faxing their interest in manager Keith Wilson.

 

For your information Basil-Don, all of these allegations have been privately posted to me via this forum and facebook. I am the guy that speaks up. People hear things every day but are reluctant about posting them on a public forum. I will not go quietly into the night, I will not vanish without a fight, I am going to live on, I am going to survive.

PS - The Eton Manor/Barking merge will definitely happen. 2 clubs with a great history but in financial difficulty. Neither set of supporters will let their teams go bust (Like Basildon will) so this is the best way to move each club forward and towards a successful future. I give you.....Barking and Eton Manor FC

A shame isnt it,you came on here spreading a lot of silly rumours then tried to excuse your behaviour claiming that you were under pressure after your wife left you,everyone sent you messages of support and you apologised for your behaviour.A fortnight later and youre back again with the same old nonsense.

Mark no ones interested,please undertstand the people who use this forum are actively involved with clubs,we are 'in the loop' youre not,maybe you're still recovering after your second wife left you but to paraphrase Oscar Wilde 'to lose one wife is unfortunate,to lose two is simply careless'. Goodbye,try the SSML Forum you will feel at home on there.

Mr Hoffman you are right. A fax has been received by Burnham from Heybridge Swifts for my services and a fee has been agreed between the two clubs to release me from my contract. I am meeting their officials to finalise my contract which will include a club car as mine has blown up on me. Couldn't really turn down £1500 a week playing budget plus £250 a week for myself.

 

Now if you believe that you are a bigger fool than I ever imagined.

 

I will not be leaving Burnham for anyone this season and probably not the next one either (obviously unless I am sacked). I am lucky enough to have the full backing of the Chairman etc and they are appreciative of the job that I am trying to do.

 

Also I have spoken to Clive Day this morning concerning this rubbish and he has asked me to straighten out a few things. Firstly he is not CLIVE PETER DAY as he has no access at work, police restrictions and secondly he has no access at home, so someone is pretending to be him, which he is not best pleased about. Also he is NOT becoming assistant manager or coach at Takeley or any other club in the ESL at present.

 

Finally, Clive, and I have to agree with him, thinks that Mark Hoffman & Clive Peter Day are the same person and that they are also someone who has played for Bowers & Burnham or could actually still be playing for one of these clubs. If not they have a very strong relationship with a current player within the ESL

I really will not be getting into (yet another) dispute regarding my identity. My name is Mark Hoffman so try and come to terms with that.

 

For your information, I read about the unrest at Bowers on a dedicated Facebook page.

Someone closely involved with Bowers mentioned to me about players drinking and not being fit/prepared to represent the club New Years Day.

I went to watch Canvey V Billericay where I was told by fans the manager was under some scrutiny and a 6-1 defeat will only add to that.

The word about Garry Kimble returning to Burnham was from one of the guys at Aveley I drink with.

The Tilbury/Grays fight was tongue in cheek.

I do not know Mr Day, all I know is what Eric told me - that some illegal approaches had been made regarding a move to Takeley.

 

Basil-Don, get down off your high horse. You spew out so much crap on these forums and on Facebook yourself. What makes you think people want to read that utter crap. Get a life you parasite. I am sick to death of someone like you judging me when you do not know me.

 

If anyone doesn't like me, doesn't like my rumours or doesn't like the fact someone from "outside the loop" wants to get involved then, quite frankly, you can take a long walk off a short pier. You will not bully me into silence.

 

On a lighter note (or maybe not), I think beachboys will be tucking into a heart warming steak and ale pie with steamed veg and a dollup of mash potato.

at the recent Basildon v Bowers match i was chatting to a middle aged groundhopper an hour before kick off and Smallsy came over 'whos that Mark Hoffman?', i explained that it just a groundhopper,maybe Smallsy was bluffing and he knew perfectly well it wasnt Hoffman?? but no its not Smallsy as he would actually know stuff unlike the nonsense which has been posted.
