I think all I said in my post was "Boreham Wood drew 1-1 with Yeading and are 9th". This was along with results involving Hornchurch and Maidenhead. How is reporting the results taking the p*ss?

 

As the Boreham Wood team contain at least half a dozen of our former players and are managed by our ex-manager and ex-assistant manager, surely it's only natural to keep an eye on how they do?

Ian , you do have a point about following another teams fortunes , but please do it your own accord .

I have nothing personally against Boreham Wood (except Brownie) , but this is a Slough Town Forum , I don't wish to see the fortunes of the Wood on here every Saturday and Tuesday nights . <img src="/images/graemlins/offtopic.gif" alt="" />

Wayne, whilst some Slough fans may have posted B'wood fortunes on here previously, it wasn't them who started this thread, and if Evil Dead wants to come on here and start conversations which aren't harmful to anyone, we're not going to stop him/them, but yeah, it's getting a bit boring now and we need to focus our efforts into what Slough are doing and what they need us helping out with.

I know that Gary . Agree with all that , I'm talking generally . It's good other fans come on here , but I just do not want to hear what B.W. are always doing . I'm refering to Ian's comments on this thread and an earlier one . What if a B.W. fan posted all of Division 1 north's results on their forum then followed it up by saying '...and Slough Town drew against , blah , blah..' Do you think they'd get the same reponce on not caring what we do each week ?

Not quite sure why it's such a big issue but if there is such a depth of feeling then I won't comment on Boreham Wood results in future! I would like to reiterate Gary's point though that it was a Boreham Wood fan that started this post, not me!

 

Let's hope that we can gain a similar level of feeling towards helping STFC secure a new stadium as posting a Boreham Wood result seems to have generated.
