New Stadium

As our new Stadium build is to get underway soon will it or is it going to become the most lifeless stadium in the country . As it is being stated on other threads we need to bring back some emotion and noise to the ground or is the penny that falls from the pocket of someone going to be a long sounding and long lasting echo until the last whistle . When i started watching the Gate around 12 yrs ago the noise from the Coffin end and the old wooden stand could at times be defening . Margate as a whole needed a pick me up and we got it with the news about the build so why has everything gone the opposite way and taken a massive dive . We as fans the people who manage the club and the players themselves should take a long look at why this is and start to wake up and get on with things in a better and much more possitive way . We as fans will have a fantastic ground to go to every other week , the club as a whole will benifit from a superb set up and the players will have there wish which is to play footy in super ground with super fans making loads of noise . But all of us fans moan and groan including myself and all the players do is drop there heads when things are not going there way and come 90 mins we are all fed up so as people have said lets start to put some life into us again and make some noise this will make the players react just like they did against Sutton then we can see our old ground out in style and go into our new ground full of hope and full of opptimism .

Results on the pitch is the only medicine at the moment Andy. HOME GAMES that is! I think the rest will follow.

Disheartening results & you get disheartened people.Good results you get a good turn out & good cheer all round.This is the mangers job. To get those players motivated .Sadly some of these players are lacking at the moment & the manager needs to extract "more" than their very best out of them,especially NOW!

kenny Dalglish - Liverpool - Happy fans , good performance , This all means one thing Liverpool is happy again as Kenny knows what liverpool means .

Iain O`Connell - Margate - Not Happy , Not Good . Iain Knows Margate inside out so he can pull it off im sure but do the players know Margate .

 

I can only think of Pinns , Welford , Rogers , Stubbs , Wilson , Ball , and maybe Jay and Clokey who i would have in Iains starting 11 , don`t leave him much to work with , the rest should take a serious look at themselves .

I think the problem is the CURRENT stadium at the moment, and has been for some time. It is lifeless, bleak in winter with hardly any cover. We will get a new terrace at the coffin end, which will give a much better atmosphere. With the increased attendances, which I'm sure will happen, the atmosphere will be much improved.
