Good result, didn't personally think it was a brilliant performance. I thought Stortford were poor, they could have played all night without troubling our defence. The game was effectively done and dusted after 15 minutes. Also, I'd have preferred to see Jaime Southon on from the start, he is such an engine in the midfield, tackling from start to finish. My man of the match was Westy, he was a rock at the back.

differing views and all relative to the recent performances and indeed last night....

patchy comes to mind but there is no doubt that we are...at times...beginning to put together some really classy stuff...just before halftime last night we had a lot of posession for 10 minutes or so and I thought that we looked excellent..we passed it around...used our pace on the flanks...didn't give it away or boot it down the middle...

accepted that we are capable of losing the plot through a game I still think that we are making big leaps forward...

if we can get the consistency I genuinely think that we can win this league...

Agree with you Unc, we looked good at times, but a sign of a decent team is one that can take their foot of the gas, so to speak, and still look very comfortable throughout the game, as we did last night. At times though, Westy apart, I wish our defenders would just get rid of the ball at the back, rather than start trying to get clever and walk it out of defence. I need only mention the game against Kettering, where a moment of madness lead to us conceding a goal, my heart can't take it!

Well, no more constructive criticism from me, decent performance and an excellent result, roll on Saturday!

Isn't it quiet on here today, anyone would have thought we'd won last night <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Im Back, having problems with a laptop (anyone know an IBM expert <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />) Anyway i thought it was good performance. Some good passing and an extremelly confident looking team.

John Martin was my Man of The Match, he was outstanding on the wing and passed the ball well.

I thought Stortford were a good side UB they just lacked the final ball!

Our lads did well and some of the play was great, other special mentions to debut boy Danny Kerrigan who managed to pull off some greatimportant tackles and looked like he had been there for years also Gavin McGowen who ruled the midfield and Westie who controlled the back four well.

Please let Westie take free kicks in shooting positions, much better than his penalty <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
