Point this bloke out to other fans or club officials and am sure a quiet word in his ear would be sufficient.

Re Dan episode, Ronks is quite correct that some on here go on about him running around like a headless chicken etc but I know from the fans I chat too Dan is deffo a favourite player as was seen last season by those who voted him Player of the Season.

I do agree though that Dan looks his most dangerous playing on the left and long may he carry on playing for us there.

I agree name and shame this so called fan...now for the humour...this type of behaviour as described in the dictionary is surely TABOO..

A taboo is a strong social prohibition (or ban) relating to any area of human activity or social custom that is sacred and forbidden based on moral judgment and sometimes even religious beliefs. Breaking the taboo is usually considered objectionable or abhorrent by society. ...

Maybe if the Margate 'choir' stepped out of the library then the individuals concerned would not be heard!

We became tired of the associations made with us just because we were vocally supporting the team. I've got better things to do than to worry about criticism of things I may or may not have said in the heat of the moment. Hence, we can't really be bothered anymore. Feel free to take up the mantle.

That was kindof a "toys out of pram" statement DM, The OAPs choir has been whitled down as well with our most vocal supporter being on a ... lets say holiday period, but to not sing and chant because you cant be bothered anymore...... defeatist mate :(

At the risk of sounding all a bit 'Delia Smith', maybe what we need at the moment is a 12th man! At the moment all the lads can hear is people in the crowd moaning about them - how would you like turning up to work and knowing before you even start that whatever you do that day will be moaned about? Perhaps thats why the lads commitment has seemingly dropped off.

If you've got better things to worry about than being criticised for things you may or may not have said - get back to chanting and encouraging the lads maybe?

directed at 1 player in paticular (no names but I know he knows who he is).

I must admit, if there has been any criticism to Dan on here, or at games (other than the standard verbal show of frustration that greets any player after a misplaced pass), I have not noticed it.

However, I think I know what player you mean Jim and the attitude towards him annoys me every week.

If it is the same player then everyone in the team could be awful and shanking passes left right and centre but if this player plays a pass an inch too long then he is suddenly the cause of all our problems. This happened again on Saturday when a couple of slightly poor passes were greeted with far more abuse than some of the truly awful passes made by other players.

I really do not understand it.

Isn't that how work works??? It generally does for me!

We have always had players targetted by the boo boys for no other reason than people wanting to blame someone for anything going wrong.

Over the years I have heard it directed at Eddie Clayton, Vic Pain, (most of the team during the Thanet Utd days), Paul Lamb, Danny Hockton, Dean Standen and others.

These people fail to realise the benefit of encouraging players when things go wrong and I really hate to hear it from our own supporters

Dean Grant released - I rest my case with my earlier post - IOC should have realised a lot sooner the lad couldn't play.

Went to Wealdstone and Canvey and only consistent factor was performance of DG.The team battled hard at Wealdstone and desreved the win with a well taken goal from DS(in my view a must for every team sheet with his hard work). The same cant be said about DG who was consistently out of position and did not want to take his man on. He also shirked the physical battle. We know players have off days but his was every day and all we ask is for players to put in 100%.. I wish him well at any other team and look forward to playing against him as many a full back has with us.

Lets hope this saturday there is no booing, the crowd get behind the team and we win convincingly...we shoudl of beat Croydon but we need to forget that as this game on saturday is a real chance not just to win, but to give the players some confidence

I could not agree more.Whilst the crowds away are obviously very small( in the 20's) the feedback is always sensible with no obvious baracking of the players.Sadly some come to home games for a good whinge only and it is no surprise that our home record is poor.Roll on saturday and three points.

What knowledge do you have of away games? The average attendance at away games is at least 50.

If you reconsider my comments on the away matches i made specific reference to, it was wealdstone and canvey! I accept i only counted the people wearing colours or standing behind the goal!

As for my knowledge , this season it includes: folkestone, croydon(twice as travelled for postponed game),maidstone, tonbridge, kingstonian, canvey and wealdstone. I think 7 out of 9 qualifies!
