Has already drenched our pitch and our game on Saturday is already in doubt.

 

Lets hope the weather stays clear as the last thing the league need is another decimated weekend!

the rain in the woking, surrey area in the last hour has been dreadful! I reckon a few games could be off tomorrow. Does the croydon arena drain well?

Croydon arena and Cobham are usually two of the better pitches in the league when it comes to drainage. Very rarely was the Cobham pitch water logged!

I believe we are doing an 'Unofficial' inspection this afternoon.

 

I'll post as soon as I hear anything 'Official'.

Johnno they will not if you let nature take it's course,but with a little bit of elbow grease they may.A Fork and a Water Pump work wonders.Aided and abetted by a bucket and Dustbin.AND A FEW WILLING HELPERS..

You can hire them at any Hire Shop,as for willing helpers,can never understand why more Clubs do not contact their local COMMUNITY SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR who would willingly supply you with Manpower,for a various range of jobs at their grounds.Works well at The Arena,painting,fencing,weeding,and they have their own Supervisor.Or get a few Dads from the youth teams that play under the Cove Name.Or is Cove a crime free area,unlike Croydon.
