Speed camera guy

How can someone be taken to court for perverting the police in their duty for flashing their headlights at oncoming traffic to warn motorist that there is a speed trap?

I do the same, I'm sure many others do the same. I'm not saying to idiots doing 70 in a 40 mph but in a area of 36 in an are of 30 mph. But going back to this statement of this new found law ( which I have never heard of ) So every council in England is guilty every man who has stopped anyone from drink driving is guilty under this new law.....Every council has speed camera in operation signs, so are they stopping the police from doing their duty. Have you ever stopped anyone leaving the pub with car keys in hand knowing that they are over the limit? I have, and it's been done to myself long ago. but did you know that you was breaking the law by stopping this, by perverting the police, they might have been waiting for the driver.

 

WHAT A LOAD OF SH 1 T and this poor guy got done for this, at the most he could have got a find for mis-use of head lights no more.

Crazy! I thought that the purpose of the Camera partnership was to improve road safety! Flashing a bloke that he's coming up to a speed camera is doing everyone a good turn, except for funding if the camera partnership! I get really cross with my local one -it was placed outside our local primay school at the bottom of a hill so steep that you have to change down to 3rd gear to stay within 30mph. The camera van is NEVER seen there on school days, only appearing on Sunday mornings or Bank Holidays, when there's a bit of overtime to be had. Typically the people they catch are not the ones who speed on school days!

 

It's a bit like when Ken Livingstone got all upset when his congestion charge was too sucessful - ie when it actually reduced congestion by discouraging motorists! He complained that the scheme wasn't generating enough revenue to pay for the equipment!
