disappointing night for basildon made worse by a terrible referee decision which saw barking awarded a penatly and bees centre half jamie cross red carded.

Had a good view for the penalty, was very harsh, certainly a tug, but wouldnt moan at it not being given. Unfortunately as soon as he gave it, there was no choice but to send him off. But to get a 3 game ban for that tackle was frankly ridicolous; when you see some of the stuff that goes unpunished.

 

Ben Jones scored early on, followed by two from Joe Turner and then Liddiard returned to score the penalty.
