just cant see how a team can expect to win a tough league when that make so many signings and there team must change week in week out , surely getting a good squad together in the summer having a good pre season , creating a good atmosphere and a team ethic between the squad , then adding the odd signing here and there along the way. clearly it doesnt always go to plan but i would like to know how mnay players have come in and gone out at teams like badshot lea chertsey camberley

I agree with you Duncs some good players who should be doing better than they are. From talking to mate there not sure the training is up to much, too many players not attending etc.

 

JUST NAMES, BIG EGO'S, DON'T TRAIN BUT PLAY, COLLECT WAGES ..............SOUND FAMILIAR ? ...AND YOU ASK WHY THEY ARE NOT DOING BETTER .......LOL !

So far only Guildford, Molesey and to a lesser extent Chertsey have this. Badshot and Camberley always seem to be signing or approaching players which can't do much for the spirit at either club and this for me is why these two sides will be 4th and 5th at best which for the players and budgets both have must be seen as a massive underachievement.

The guy has been at Camberley a few years he said? Is this Webb or is he a recent signing?

i dunno it could be, iknow hes good pals with liam stone the badshot goalie and they played together at Camberley a few seasons ago. not 100% sure tho

badshot lea appared to have signed gareth howell (former aldershot keeper) and james mariner former godalming midfielder according to there website

 

SO WHERE'S CURRENT 'KEEPER LIAM STONE GOING THEN NOW ...........?

 

Gareth Howell is Badshot Lea's Goalie Coach - he played against Sandhurst when Liam Stone was unavailable.

 

Liam was back in goal against Banstead

Like a merry go round. Badshot are the new camberley, Stone, Ker, Johnson and Jamie. Camberley are the new badshot/cove, foster, Blount, Girling, Jeffers, grace, griffiths, Andrews. And Cove were Camberley foster, mcgarry, Milletti, Jeffers until camberley started paying more money this season. Kroons must get confused cos I sure am. One thing I do know is that none of the clubs named will challenge for the title by signing CCL journeymen. Surely the 100 quid a week Badshot and Camberley are paying some players would be better spent on attracting some of Weebles charges down or similar from higher levels?

Have a handle on the Guildford and godalming scene, learning about the Aldershot, Farmborough and Camberley scene since watching Badshot at Godalming. Doesn't seem a lot of love lost between the clubs in that area, and seems Ash are included in the love in. Makes for some interesting derbies I bet. Enjoyed my first taste of Ash v Badshot this season, feisty game.
