Not a great game from our point of view. Cant believe how many chances we missed 1st half. No complaints 2nd half we simply are not good enough.

I have just spoke to someone who was at the game and said a group of tilbury fans were driven at by a 4 x 4 and another was hit with a brick and a couple more were beaten with bars.

Obviously don't know how much this is exagerrated but my source said he witnessed at least 3 seperate altercations after the game.

Apparently this is our big game although I'm too young to remember the proper fierce Tilbury derbies when we played at christmas and boxing day.

 

Although I cant imagine any of our fans getting involved, they do seem to have taken this defeat to heart, much more than we ever did losing to you, ricay, canvey or purfleet.

Excuse the pun but I think most of them on our forum want Dicks out!

just spoke to one of my mates who rang me,he is out drinking in grays and reckons a few pubs have been shut after reprisals from tilbury fans,apparantly there are "hundreds" of Tilbury folk hell bent on revenge

Mental, there was only 100 of them at the game! Hope everybody stays safe down there. I'm supposed to be moving back soon, might have second thoughts!

I don't think it had much to do with genuine Grays' fans by the sound of it. Looks like a few West Ham hoolies turned up looking for some aggro.
