Knaphill 3 Feltham 1

Knaphill flew out the traps and dominated nearly all the first half leading 1-0. We came out second half and got well into the game. A combinationof missed chances, the keeper pulling off some great saves from three one on ones and when you don't take the chances you get punished! Two quick fire goals before pulling back a consolation with five minutes to go.

Egham Town 7 Wembley 1

1-0 4 mins Adam Foulser (header off pass by Aaron Taylor (new centre half signed from Beaconsfield SYCOB)

2-0 11 mins Aaron Taylor (diving header)

3-0 23 mins Michael Carey (low shot)

4-0 40 mins Anthony Oaks (40 yard lob over the keeper)

4-1 46 mins Paul McComb (great solo goal)

5-1 47 mins John Pomroy (tap in after good work by Carey and Oaks)

63 mins Aaron Roiuse sent off for bad tackle, followed by period in which Wembley played really well

6-1 88 mins Jason Boxx (17 yr old who beat two men and arced a wonderful shot into the far corner)

7-1 90+2 John Pomroy

Excellent performance. Seems Matt Grave couldn't be arsed to show up again. Biggest win over Wembley; helps to balance a few stuffings we have had from the Lions in the past including a 2-7 at home. Best Xmas/New Year win since we turned a 3-1 half time into a 10-1 at home against Camberley in the early 80s. (They have had their revenge several times since.)

ANIMAL GETS HIS GOAL!! ( WORLDY)

Lammas 4 - 1 Westfield

A great start to 2011 for the Lammas with a comftable win today over Westfield. Lammas opened there 2011 account with a Worldy from Myself!!! Westfield had a couple of good opportunities to pull level with 2 well workede corners cleared off the line. Lammas doubled there lead through Skipper Lawrence Munns with a well taken header. Second half Westfield started brighter and managed to pull 1 back with a well taken goal. Lammas then made it 3 with a great individual effort through Stevie coultas. Lammas then wrapped up the points when a sublime Chris bullen pass found Ben Jacob who neatly lobbed the keeper to make it 4-1. We had chances to score more but failed to take them. Credit to Westfield who i thought played well today and at times deserved more. A great win makes Lammas 4 unbeaten in the league and are now putting a nice little run together but have a tough test against league favs South Park next week!!

Up the Lammas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bookham 1-0 MVSCR

Shocking performance from Valley, attitude terrible from the off.

Bookham fully deserved the win - were hard working and well organised throughout - a lesson for us there.

To be honest, if our keeper hadn't pulled off 3 / 4 great saves, it would have been worse.

We have to improve, and quickly.

Went to watch cove vs the league leaders guilDford . And to be honest on first impressions the way cove bullief guildford you would think they were the league leaders, a wonder goal scored by guildford was excellent strike, but have to say they created very little apart from cove keeper pulling of 3 great saves, cove looked excellent created so many chances hit the bar and post but just couldn score cove then reduced to 9 men but carried on going and got what they fullied deserved, overall guildford very lucky to get a point here as i feel cove were ready to take away there unbeeten run but as potential champions you sometimed have to ride your luck

Horley town4- Dorking 0.

Not a very good 1st half but Horley led 1-0 with a great strike from Dave Brown.

Second half it was just the case of how many Horley would score it could of been 8 or 9 but for missed chances and wrong choices in front of goal but after a long break it was a great 3

points. Dave Brown completed his hat trick. Dorking I think had 1 chance in the 1st half when they could of lobbed the keeper but apart from that they were not a threat for Horleys back

line.

Must say I thought the 3 officials were great today.

Cove 1-1 Guildford City

Good game and good performance from Cove without the holidaying johnno, the woodwork being hit several times. City took the lead in the first half with a 25 yard strike from Ben Rayner. Cove managed to lose two players in the second half through second yellows. Woody Cardona wasted a couple of gilt-edged chances before being replaced by Elliott who got the equaliser for the 9 men. Guildford off the boil today, but credit to Cove for a good showing especially when a couple of players down.

Highlights to follow.
