New Rumours

Windsor Castle's Moat

Recommended Posts

I was out on new years eve and got talking to someone about W&E who basically said KS has pulled out of the takeover as W&E received some money and paid current and ex players before paying the tax man and that the tax man has got wind of this and has called in all outstanding monies owed with immediate effect.

KS has had a major falling out with DM and even if the takeover goes ahead that most probably we would get another new manager.

And lastly the Turo game was our last home game as there is no money to pay off the tax man in one go.

Now I hasten to add that this was just pub gossip and in no way do I say that there is any truth in them BUT and it’s a big BUT if there is any truth in these rumours then I can only say that we deserve everything that will be thrown at us as common sense says that you pay the tax man first and secondly I think I speak for all of us when I say what a fantastic job DM has done this season and what a huge blow it would be to loose him.

I hope there is no truth to these rumours but PS & KS must realise what a negative effect all this has for our club and that this situation is not a competition between 2 rich people about who can wee the highest up the wall in fact its about more than that, its about the club we love, peoples jobs and more importantly its about the club which is more like a family to us possibly going out of business so please please please sort out whatever problems there are and save our club and manager and move forward onto bigger and better things next season.

One thing is for sure, Mudgey has done a great job in extreme circumstances. I suspect he's not far from breaking point as there's no one leading the club at the moment, and I suspect he's having to do everything - more than a Football Club Manager should. I'm hoping Dave can tough it out for a little while longer, keep his spirits up and the spirits of the players.

Peter Simpson seems to have decided it's best to let other people get on with things (despite the fact he's still responsible for the club) and won't accept any public criticism.

Kevin Stott has yet to play his hand, which is understandable but incredibly frustrating.

In the real world Peter Simpson should be coming out and telling Supporters where the club is at re CVA preparation and submission. He's in charge of the club. I suspect I've got more chance of seeing the Popes [****!!****] though.

The club may well go bang but Supporters should get behind the Manager and Players next time we see them as I'm sure our Manager and Players will do their best to overcome whatever is in front of them.

Chin up Dave.

The silence is deafening.

I do think we are "owed" some kind of an update.

Mild irritation at the lack of information is gradually developing into a gentle seething in these quarters.

Probably unfair of me but I am beginning to suspect that Mr Simpson has dug such a massive hole for himself (and the club) over the last few years, and has told so many stories to so many people that he has forgotten how to be entirely straight.

Shame.

According to an article in the Advertiser Peter Simpson still has not come forward with all the paperwork needed to get the cva up and running. Having attended the last open meeting i clearly heard Peter Simpson say that he handed over all of this paperwork. I dont know what his problem is but for the good of the club get your act together Mr Simpson before its too late!
