I see the Ampthill on Radio thread has gone missing, due presumably to Mr Rhodes distasteful comments regarding a tragic incident over the weekend.

Shame it had to happen, but understandable. The sad thing is it won't stop him being offensive.

I just can't believe a young girl loses her life ( murdered ) I just can't imagen what the family are going trough , and Rhodes uses this to have a dig at me and ampthill

CB, I don't know what is more tragic. The death of a young girl with so much to live for, or the case of a repulsive coward who uses such incidents to get kicks by baiting people.

For those of us that read it I think not only was we shocked by such a tragic incident but more so by the fact that Rhodes highlighted on this forum with probably only one motive in mind.

Whether a personal attack on CB, myself or the club only he will know but this isn't the place to ask such a question, the right time, and the right place one day will arrive, without question.

For now and to show our deepest symaphathies to the Family involved we should leave well alone otherwise does it make us any better than Rhodes himself.

The thing is & it's getting worse, are the depths he is going to to provoke a response. Maybe we should all turn a blind eye to it & ignore him, but personally I find that difficult.

In the past few months we've had him defending a vile internet attack on Gary Speed after his death, Trivialising Fabrice Muamba's collapse at White Hart Lane, making excuses for Raoul Moate's attack on PC Rathband & now this. Basically it's all very cowardly, distasteful & not very funny & I would bet 99.9% of posters on here feel the same.

I find it very easy to ignore him - it's quite satisfying too. He's just attention seeking. If we all ignored him he would look even more silly than he does at the moment (if that's possible). The mods should be able to cope with the libellous stuff.
