As at 10.00 this morning I have been advised of the postponement of all the Div 1 matches other than Cobham v Chobham (evening match), Feltham v Hayes Gate and Sheerwater v Frimley.

 

I was told yesterday morning by Feltham that all parties had agreed to a 2.00 pm kick off only to be told later on by Hayes Gate that they couldn't manage that. I am advised this morning that the game is definitely ON, but back to a 11.30 kick off.

 

Sheerwater have told me this morning that they hope to get their match on.

After a referee's inspection the game has been called off. The pitch still has snow in areas, and is frozen or waterlogged in other areas.

Feltham 6 Hayes Gate 2

 

Hayes didn't start ariving until just before 11 and then played the first 15 minutes with nine men and did well. During that time we went 1-0 up and failed to take chances. They got eleven men and played well to start with and drew level. We added a second and third before the break and then dominated the second half and the game should've been well into double figures.

 

Some fantastic football played by us at times and hopefully now with our new esembled side we can really drive on in this second half of the season!!

 

I have to give a MASSIVE to Nut, the pitch was in fantastic condition considering the recent weather. Cut up slightly but not as much as I though it would and was a pleasure to play football on. Maybe one day Nut you'll come watch and we'll sort you oput with some grub and a beer after

I posted my own views of Hayes gate yesterday and they obviously have rubbed someone up the wrong way as they've been deleted !

HAHA! They were very very poor but did have a couple of fantastic players who stood out! One of their lads said they were missing five or six players
