i too have wondered at the stupidity of the league program organisers for several seasons now when mulling it over with other fans it is thought that it is left clear for cup matches, to this i think that league games should be scheduled then if you are lucky enough to still be in cup competiti0n then the league game can be rescheduled with plenty of time to play it, yes if you have a very successfull season you may still have a log jam towards the end of the season and that may hit a few clubs but as it stands at the moment it is hitting all clubs , with the loss in revenue stream that that brings in a part of the season that a lot of clubs can ill afford, so come on league how about a change for a couple of seasons lets see if it will work,

This is from the Express website:

Bateman, however, is unsure whether Monday’s derby with Beaconsfield Sycob will go ahead due to the current frozen pitch at Holloways Park. He has instructed the club’s secretary to try to fit the game in on either Wednesday, Thursday or New Year’s Day if necessary.

It would be good if we could get the game on this week even if it is delayed by a few days.

anybody know the likelihood of the game going ahead tomorrow??

going by the weather predictions on the bbc i would say unlikly but i am ever hopful that it will go ahead though we have to contend with part of the pitch being in shadow and the access road and car park being more suitable for ice hockey just as last year

it is as i said. it seems our landlords don't have the stomach for a game at this time of the year, wanderers seemed to get their game on at home yesterday.
