Just my opinion but surely all Clubs should change their K.O.Times to 3pm,to have any chance of a game being played. With overnight temperatures below 0 degrees, there will be no chance of the ground thawing in time.Chertsey and Egham have made a sensible decision, maybe other Clubs should follow suit.

To be fair, we have changed our kick off to 1pm so that the game will be played in daylight (or whatever we get on Monday), whereas a 3pm kick off means the second half will be played under lights and therefore when the temperature drops rapidly. It also (a) gives players and officials a bit more time to get to the game and (B) saves on floodlights. And, it means that we can have a pitch inspection at 10.30 so, if the game gets cancelled, very few would have had to begin the journey to Molesey and will be inconvenienced slightly less than with an early kick off. All seem sensible ideas, but the proof will be if we play the game. I know that managers and groundsmen are racking their brains with thoughts on how to best ensure that the games go ahead, but reality is that there are clubs with substantial funds and better facilities in much higher leagues who are struggling to even train at the moment. Every effort will be made by most of us to get these games played, but most clubs hands are tied. Our lads cannot wait for the next game to be played, and I am sure this goes for every club at the moment.

If anyone's desperate to get out of the house today, Woking are expecting their game to go ahead today at Kingfield (Havant & Waterlooville) at 3pm. Half tempted myself. They should get a decent crowd.

I notice Cobham v Chobham is now 7pm on Tuesday. With the temperature rise on Tuesday, wonder if it may survive?

DORKING FC - BOOKHAM FC: Monday 27th. December. - POSTPONED

The League have kindly allowed us to call this game off this afternoon, so people can plan their bank holiday Monday.

Meadowbank still has a covering of snow, and where there has been a thaw, the actual ground is now frozen solid beneath.

The prognosis for the pitch isn't good until we get several days of continuous thaw !!

Camberley v Sandhurst OFF

As covered elsewhere Epsom v Horley off, we hope to try start beating the backlog by playing SSC game at home to Beckenham on Thursday 30th at 7.45 . However forecasts I've seen today suggest warmer air is coming in accompanied by a big old downpour so icy might become watrerlogged quite quickly .I'll keep you informed when I hear anything.
