I would have thought the architects would know which direction is which, wouldn't they???

But aren't they just the directional names to which they were told. Dosen't mean its literally correct though.

It's obviously just me then who dosent know my North from my South. My East from my West. Anyone got a compass.

 

 

 

Hey not that it matters THAT much as I really don't give two hoots as to which ends they name them just so long as works begins on time & the thing gets built..

I think you're right Tony. The stadium site is not sat conveniently in line with a compass but given the directional lables given to each side of the ground, I don;t think it's more than 90 degrees out.

Just looked on Map & maybe my North (where current seating is) is more like North West. My South(Tivoli road end) would therefore be South East so I'm probably just a shade off maybe with all four having looked again.

Surely if it is just the position of seats and that the actual stands are as the plans agreed then we should not have any problems (unless a certain ex council leader sticks his nose in)

I wondered whether there was any sign of activity/mobilisation on site yet.

 

Maybe just signage going up ?

 

I know start was for march-not sure if end/start of March,but think it was suggested that pre-prep would be in jan/feb and was'nt it reported that 'shortly' some tree felling activity was due.

It was noticed by a few people that trees in the bottom corner of the Tivoli Park Ave end had been cut down and back so looks like something has started
