What was the purpose of this meeting - was it to allow Britwell Residents to listen to the Council discussion on the topic?

 

Given that the local paper reported that many (?) local residents felt that this is a done and dusted deal, will large numbers of Slough Fans in colours turning up confirm their view and that they are being bounced into accepting it? Might not a a charm offensive by the Club and Supporters be a good idea to win local support and show that we are not something to be frightened of along the lines of what I suggested in my post "What should we say to the council?

 

We do need to show maximum support for the plan - I am just worried we might look as if we are trying to force the situation too much at this stage....

If im right in saying that the meeting Wednesday is a meeting where the plans are put forward to the Council Committee for approval so plans can go to the next stage.There will be no participation by the public allowed but our attendance in the gallery will hopefully past these plans.
