that i am the highest paid at the club! I do try not to brag about my £20 per week!

Not sure about the rest although if it were true and i knew about the rumour, it would be highly unprofessional of me to start blurting it out on here!

i had a season of earning good money but now its all about playing for as long as possible!

i found it very rewarding getting a much bigger wage than most, but also found the pressure and strains of having to play well every single week very tough.

i can guarantee that no one is on a contract at Cove this season.

3 players were last season which proved to be the right decision as 2 of the 3 players had approaches from other clubs. All 3 of these players played a key role in helping us win the CCL league cup! If any of them had left during the season we may not have won this cup and you know how i love to win a cup !

I read with interest villan fan's comments regarding Cove, however I would like to inform him that from what I have heard players will still be getting paid expenses but not as much, I think in this climate there will be more clubs following Cove, there is no money in local football anymore. If you think how much is costs to put on a first team game. you are normally running at a loss.

It will be interesting to see how much loyalty to Cove there will be from the first team players. Cove is a good club with a few really hardworking committee members who I have heard been giving some of their own money to help but cannot continue doing this.

Personally if I was in charge at the fa I would ban any payment and I include expenses to any players below step 4.

And on what do you base that NLN a lot of kids can earn money working on a Saturday so why not pay their train fare as 12 quid 3 times a week is a lot of money to a 16 year old.. I think you need to re think mate.

My view for what it is worth is that,in special circumstances Players should approach Clubs, and state that they only want Minimum Expenses,a Good Club Man,would take nothing. If this weather lasts much longer Clubs could well fold,No income over the Bar,No Gate Receipts, but still bills to pay, hard times should be shared by all.

I trust all my lads totally and if they abused that then their feet would not touch the ground ...It is all about respect on a 2 way basis....
